Tuxedos and Dinner Suits

The ideal excuse to wear a tuxedo are official galas, events, concerts, e.g. at the opera, events with a high degree of formality, ceremonial dinners. The tuxedo jacket is a silk, shiny night jacket worn with trousers and slippers and considered to be a homely, personal wardrobe, which in the old days gentlemen used to wear before going to bed.
